It was another great day at camp, it was
very busy and everyone, campers and staff
alike, seem to be aware that the end of camp
is approaching and they all seem to be
squeezing every last drop of fun out of the
summer.
The
four year olds went to Signal de Bougy in
the morning and stayed there for the day,
unfortunately the baker was out today but
they were able to make some doughy shapes in
camp before they left. They were baked
during the day and the fours had piping hot
fresh bread waiting for them when they got
back to camp. They also spent a few hours
playing in the huge playground and all the
small parks in Signal. Of course, they also
visited the giant pig and all of his giant
relatives, as well as Ed the horse and all
the other animals in the petting zoo. One of
the Senior groups also went up to Signal but
they only went up for the morning to play
mini golf, which is always great fun. The
other Senior groups either went Sailing in
Divonne,
or to Nyon pool, or they went bowling in
Gland, so another really tough day for the
Seniors…
The Fives,
Sevens and the Eight’s went to the pool
today - it was a bit chilly in the morning
but by this afternoon they were soaking up
the rays…
And on campus
today in Drama, Music and Dance preparations
for special day are now well under way, the
skits, songs and dances for the campers (as
well as the counselors) have been written
and will be practiced over the next couple
of days, I’ve already seen some and they
look great, and they’ll be ready for Friday
and the Parents. We can't wait!
