It was another relatively quiet day here at camp, all of the Intermediates, some of the Minis and some of the Senior groups went on excursions today so at times during the day it felt like camp was deserted.

The Seniors spent the day up in the Jura mountains, we take the children on a 3 kilometer walk along the top of the Jura to La Dole, its not a hard walk, and the views are fantastic, and everybody seems to have enjoyed themselves.

The Nines had a really tough day - they spent the afternoon bowling in Gland, and the morning at Nyon pool, tough life huh? The Eight year olds went to the pool this afternoon, and the Seven year olds went to Trelex and spent a few hours playing games in the Forest and building little huts for the Trelex fairies.

Some of the other Senior groups went sailing this morning in the Lac de Divonne, I suppose sailing might be a bit of an overstatement - they went on surf boards and were towed behind boats around the lake. The Six year olds went on the boat from Coppet to Nyon this morning, which was followed by an hour or so in the playground by the Port de Nyon,

As well as going on all these wonderful excursions, all of the groups have been working hard in Drama and Dance preparing their performances for Special day, the theme is LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!! and hopefully it will, like every other special day, be a day to remember and all of the campers and the Staff are looking forward to seeing the parents there. Thankfully the weather was great today and hopefully it will stay as pleasant for the next few days, and although there is a chance that it will rain on Thursday, as long as the weather is ok for Friday we should be alright!!
