Happy Swiss
Day to all!!! Camp had a distinctly Swiss
twist to it today (as if actually being in
Switzer land
wasn’t enough), huge Swiss flags are hanging
all over the College de Terre Sainte, and
many of the activities or games that took
place on campus today had cheese, cow or
mountain themes… It was a lovely day to
celebrate and the many groups that were at
Nyon pool, either in the morning or in the
afternoon had great weather for their
aquatic activities. Even the fact that it
was Swiss Day and they were sharing the pool
with half of the population of Geneva didn’t
stop them all from enjoying themselves. The
fives, sevens, and some of the seniors went
in the morning, and the eights, fours, and
more seniors went in the afternoon, and you
can see som e
of the pictures from the pool on the
website.
In general it
was a pretty quiet day for excursions, two
senior groups were lucky with their
excursions today- they went to Signal de
Bougy in the Morning and after some Mini
golf and a picnic lunch they went straight
to Gland for an afternoon of bowling.
So
all in all it was another good day here at
camp, it is supposed to rain tomorrow, so
please make sure your children have
appropriate rain gear. Thankfully it is only
supposed to last for a day so it will be
nice again for Special Day, we are all
looking forward to it, and looking forward
to seeing all the parents. The Carnival
begins at 2:45 and parents are invited to
come and join us at that time. Hope to see
you all here!!
