Thursday - the
last normal day of the first session, tomo rrow:
Special Day!!! When the campers arrive
tomorrow morning there will be a different
schedule - first a performance by the Senior
Counselors and Office Staff (including, of
course, an appearance by the infamous DARK
DESTROYER!!). Then the Senior Groups will go
to the Pool and the others will stay on
campus playing games for the morning. The
Special Day Carnival takes place in the
afternoon after the barbeque lunch.
It
was a great last day of activities here at
camp, unfortunately the weather wasn’t great
at first, but it didn’t cause too many
problems. Our nines went hiking in the Jura,
and the groups at the pool were able to stay
out and get a good afternoon’s worth of
sunshine, and the lovely weather later on
here at camp meant that there were no other
disruptions.
The gyms, the
drama and music rooms, and all of the other
campus based activities were busy today, and
in arts and crafts today most of the age
groups put the finishing touches on their
picture frame souvenirs, and will be taking
them home tonight, so parents make sure you
get to see your children’s because they are
really very nice and very creative.
