Monday again, and it’s hard to believe that we are half way through the first session already; I guess time flies at Village Camps!! We had a lot of new campers join us this week so camp was really buzzing with activity today, there were quite a few groups away on field trips as well, and thankfully we seem to be back to proper summer weather (at least temporarily) so nothing had to be cancelled or rescheduled, and we even had some new activities for the campers today.

The Eight year olds spent the entire day at Signal de Bougy, and after making the usual trip around the mini zoo and the fairy fields, they stopped at the amphitheatre and acted out their production of Shakespeare’s Henry the Eighth! We will be able to see them in action with all the other age groups this Friday during the Special Performance Day!

The Mini campers spent all day in camp today, except for the sixes who were lucky and got to go to Piscine de Nyon in the afternoon. However the other Mini’s are going to be very busy with excursions over the next few days- Coppet Boat Ride, the Nyon pool and Playground, and Signal de Bougy, to name a few.

All the groups also got their photos taken today, over the course of the week in Arts and Crafts they’ll be given frames to decorate which they can put the photos in and take home at the end of the session as souvenirs.
